Apr. 27th, 2014 07:49 pmThis April I have... pruned the figs back to a more reasonable windowsill size, transferred the sourdough starter to a different crock, failed to bake any bread, seen red kites, a grey heron up close (but not within reach of that very stabby beak, thanks), and a yellow wagtail, gone to two ceilidhs and one BJC, and not gone to Chicago (bad luck).
In early May I'm off to a conference on UK drugs policy; this has no official standing whatsoever but should be interesting. Any points you-all think are worth making while I'm there? Personally I'm strongly in favour of legalisation of most drugs and decriminalisation of personal possession and use of all drugs; the prohibition approach has simply failed.
Oh, and long-term relationship hit one year in April, so that was nice.
