(Ooh, look, "inauguration" really does derive from "augury". Perhaps one can predict the weather from the walking patterns and vocalisation behaviours of secret service agents? If they chirp more than 5 times in 30 seconds it'll be a cold dry winter, style of thing...)
For extra credit, is it plausible that given sufficient time the change from March to January in 1937 will become generally (but vaguely) associated with Caesar's calendar reform?
