Williams Bros Midnight Sun - Porter. Nice. Root ginger aftertaste, fully explained by the fact there's root ginger in it.
Rogue Chocolate Stout - Porter. Um. Would be better without the "natural chocolate flavouring", which I assume is carob. Chocolate malt would do the job fine on its own. (If it's not carob, please don't disillusion me). Also "Free range coastal waters", which according to this imaginary dictionary means "seawater" and is less alluring than they may think. Still, not too bad, and it keeps the Beeston maltings in work which is good for my nostalgia. I was born 200 yards from that maltings, y'know. You could tell the wind by the smell.
