Sep. 20th, 2007 08:43 pmPleasantly inconsequential conversation with Cat over a drink yesterday evening (not to be confused with Cat who is living in the Lake District*. Please do not suggest calling them Cat-a and Cat-b.), who is an old friend and a very new lawyer - graduated this year and just started work. She's also volunteering on Boris Johnson's campaign. Sometimes I worry about that girl.
Then this morning I bumped into Chris in King's Cross (not to be confused with Chris who is living in New Zealand, or with Chris who is technically my stepbrother). He's still an actor, is working at the moment and was on his way to a rehearsal - didn't have much time to speak but it was good to see him.
Ministry of True Names (previously the Department of Nominative Determinism): Surbiton, a suburban town.
*Such a shame the new national parks aren't named in the same way as the Peaks and the Lakes: the New Forest would be so much better as "The Bastard Farting Pony District".
