I think if the Estimable Sibling and the Blond ever meet there may be some kind of explosion. It's not just that they have the same ancient model Kenwood mixer - many people have them; it's not just that they have the same knives - fewer people have them, but they're good knives and they both take cooking seriously; it's that they were simultaneously reading the same book.
