Things I have done: made chocolate mousse, made chili with rice and beans, boggled at my foot.

The foot has friction grazes, which have the charming property of looking fine for a few hours and then bleeding out through the skin (and, in this case, into my damn sock). Then they turn yellow and scab over. Pretty!

The chili worked pretty well. Got a lump of good steak, reduced, so that went in last in chunks and poached for about eight minutes; stewing steak would have gone in near the beginning. More details on request.

The chocolate mousse is in the fridge. Based on Lindt 85%, so will spend the evening vibrating gently after eating it.

Oh, and read a little bit. At an average 1.85 cm. per book, and 100 books, I have now read through my height since Christmas. (Of course, that's a post hoc estimate of the average in order to get the nice round number of books; but what the hell. It's an underestimate, I think.)
